Hello World!

If you’re here, welcome.

This little corner of the internet was created for people over 60 who are curious, capable, and committed to aging well.

I work with adults in their 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, and what I see might surprise you.

I don’t see people trying to stay young. Nor do I see people bothered by their age.

I see people who appreciate their life journey and understand that movement, friendship, and learning are the keys to aging well.

They show up. They try new things. And they don’t stop. Not because they’re afraid of getting older, but because they’ve decided to live well at every age.

That’s what Go Sixty Plus is about.

This is not a place for intimidating workouts or chasing youth. This is a place for real movement, real bodies, and real life after 60.

Here you’ll find:

  • Videos of gentle and effective exercises for strength and mobility
  • Beginner-friendly line dance demonstrations
  • Stories, travel, and everyday wellness ideas

You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be an athlete.

You just have to be willing to move.

The people I work with every day remind me that aging well is not about fighting age. It’s about embracing it with strength, curiosity, and joy.

So wherever you are today, this is your invitation.

Stand up. Take a step. Try a dance. Watch a video. Read a story.

You’re not late to the game.

You’re just getting started.

Hi, I’m Laura! I’m a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Senior Fitness Specialist, and a PWR!Moves® Certified Therapist. But more importantly, I’m someone who didn’t discover a love for fitness until later in life. In 2009, I decided to train for a half marathon for my 45th birthday. What was meant to be a one-time bucket list item turned into a passion that carried me through 65 marathons, including one in every state. For the past ten years, I’ve worked in senior wellness, and the adults I work with every day have taught me something important: aging well has very little to do with age and everything to do with attitude, movement, and having fun. When I’m not teaching classes, you can usually find me running, hiking, kayaking, biking, traveling, or taking photos of beautiful places along the way. Go Sixty Plus was created to share that joy and make wellness feel welcoming, encouraging, and possible for everyone over 60.
